On a broader scale, the most recent research by LifeWay Christian Resources shows that 26 percent of the 364,826 baptisms in Southern Baptist churches were a direct result of VBS. That same research reflects that approximately 1 of every 16 children in America, ages 5-12 was enrolled in a Southern Baptist VBS.
